Halo: Combat Evolved, a FPS game to experience the essence of Halo Series
Halo: Combat Evolved is the first action game from the popular Halo series which was launched in 2001.
Halo: Combat Evolved is a first-person shooter game which is simpler than those which were launched afterwards. For that reason, it could be a good choice for players who want to start enjoying the Halo series without complications. This is a game relatively easy to play, especially if you are used to the classic controls of a FPS game.
The key of Halo is to fight against the alien invaders known as the Covenant. As other similar action games, you will have to shoot and eliminate your enemies before they reach you.
Solo campaign and multiplayer mode
While playing the demo version, you will be able to go through the first two levels. In the first one you will have to battle by yourself against the alien race Covenant. However, the second one will enable the multiplayer mode, allowing you to fight online against other players, and it supports up to 16 people. Besides, this mode includes a map where you can find strategic locations to fight or to hide from your opponents.
Despite the demo version has some restrictions, the truth is that Halo is a good game to try as it includes some notable features, such as the chance of using weapons and vehicles or joining intense confrontations.
One of the best things Halo integrates is the sound effects, which stand out because of its strength. Although some players think that the graphics are a bit outdated, the truth is that they still look realistic, considering that they were developed a decade ago.
